If you’re a small business owner, you know how important it is to make smart (and financially-responsible) decisions. You’ve got a lot on your plate, and the last thing you want to worry about is if your work vehicle can get the job done. Edmonton’s Go Nissan understands this, and wants to help alleviate some of the burdens that come with choosing a work van. That’s why we’re looking at two of Nissan’s most popular work vehicles: the Nissan NV Cargo, and the Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo. Read on and learn about which of these two vans is right for you and your business.
The 2019 Nissan NV Cargo
Nissan’s NV Cargo is undoubtedly the toughest and hardest-working van in the Nissan lineup. With three different trims, multiple engine choices, and the option for a Standard or High Roof, the NV Cargo is capable of powerful performance in a wide range of settings. While the NV Cargo shares a number of positive attributes with the NV200, its larger size makes it a great choice for those hauling a lot of gear to and from the job site. With its flat-loading floor, the 2019 NV Cargo has enough space to fit:
- A ten-foot pipe
- Two 40” by 48” pallets, side-by-side
- 4’ by 8’ drywall or plywood sheets (between the wheel wells alone)
- And more!
The NV Cargo features more reinforced, integrated cargo-mounting points than the NV200, giving you more options than its already-customizable, smaller sibling. As well, when choosing the High Roof option in either the 2500 or 3500 version of the NV Cargo, you’ll be graced with a roof tall enough to accommodate someone standing up to 6’3. When it comes to room, the 2019 Nissan NV Cargo can’t be beat.
The 2019 Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo
Sharing a number of attributes with its “big brother,” the 2019 Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo van offers a similar performance and value—only at a smaller scale. Whereas the NV Cargo is the right choice for abundant space, the NV200 Compact is the perfect work van when it’s at a premium. This smaller van offers an impressive 36.7-foot turning diameter, making it substantially easier to navigate on crowded city streets. Its smaller size also graces it with a better fuel economy of 9.3 L/100 km combined, making it an excellent choice for those looking to corral and control all the costs associated with their work vehicles.
